Internet Proselyting

The Missionary Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints recently chose 8 missions to pilot online proselyting. This has never been done before by full-time missionaries of the church. We're so excited for this chance that we have to serve.

The internet is an incredible tool. Think of the advantages we have today having access to instant communication around the world. The internet provides exciting new avenues for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and furthering His work.
However, there are also negative applications of the internet. We know what they are.
Our hope as missionaries and members of the Church of Jesus Christ is to bring the truth to the world. With the help of the internet, the work is greatly hastening.

"Our missionaries are going forth to different nations (physically, and now via internet)...The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; . . . the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done."

I know that God lives and that His Son, Jesus Christ, is the Savior of the world. He suffered for us. He loves us. We can become cleansed through His Atonement so that someday we may stand before Him accepted, and live with our Father again.
